I miss cold weather so much! I want more tea, clouds, rain boots, and sweaters. I want the XX show to come faster.

Sometimes I get really fixated on things. A lot of the time, it's the moon (that one-eyed baby in Toy Story 3 is me x 1000). Quite often it was this house. The brick, the snowy mountains behind it...perfection.

There is nothing like finding a really great vintage dress. I found this one at a tiny shop in Portland, and as soon as I put it on I just knew we were meant to be. Originally it was about three sizes too big, but my grandmother is an incredible seamstress (one of her many, many talents) and was able to take it in.

Also, I'm going to give myself props for having an awesome hair day (if you can do that?). For someone who was called Muppet in high school (because my hair was so big and crazy), this is a proud moment indeed.

Pink Belt

A belt story: I once owned the prettiest nude belt, purchased from the same vintage store as this pink belt. One day, I wore the nude belt to school under a coat. When I got to my class, I took the coat off. The belt was gone. I never found it, it never came into the Lost and Found. Never have I heard of a belt falling off of someone's body. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

From my first viewing, Roman Holiday has been my favorite movie (although The Artist is a very close second). I love every part of it (when I went to Rome on a school trip, I was obsessed with hunting down the filming locations), and continue to be inspired by it: this outfit is a take on the blouse-and-midi-skirt combination Audrey Hepburn wears when she explores the city.
